Supporting the brilliance of women from different cultures and ways of knowing.

We are championing for greater diversity & inclusion in the field of STEM.

In 2022, we launched the Women Imagine The Future Fund to help women from the global south obtain their Masters of Engineering for Sustainability & Health from the University of San Diego. One of the most important elements of the Master of Science in Engineering, Sustainability and Health (MESH) program is the value of bringing students together from different corners of the world. With this fund, we aim to include students from low-income settings who, without this funding, would not be able to benefit from the program.

  • 4.87% Of minority women make up the STEM workforce. According to NSF
  • 33% Of green inventions developed in Korea involved women, followed by Colombia (24%) Chile (18%) and Mexico (17%) Source
  • $30000+ Will sponsor a full scholarship.4.87% Of minority women make up the STEM workforce According to NSF

This program can redress the historical lack of women in leadership positions in engineering and provide opportunities for women to make significant, sustainable impacts in their local environments.

How can you help?

  • Share this page with everyone you know :)
  • Donate – We accept donations from $5.
  • $30,000 will fully sponsor a student from program start to completion
How will your donation be utilized?
All donations will directly support the ability of women from low-income countries to complete the MESH program and share the benefits of their acquired knowledge and skills within their local contexts.

How is the scholarship awarded?

Any woman from a low-income country who qualifies for the program can apply for the scholarship. Our MESH academic director and co-director will review the applications, select finalists to interview, and award scholarships based on need, vision, and potential to benefit low-income settings.
